Project

The Town of Manchester Department of Public Works, Engineering Division proposes to reconstruction Gardner Street from approximately 400 feet north of Line Street northerly to the north junction at Fern Street.  The project will reconstruct the roadway to a uniform width of 18-feet south of Wyneding Hill Road and 20-feet north of Wyneding Hill Road, install concrete curbing and construct a 5-foot wide bituminous concrete sidewalk within the Town's right of way.

Other work includes minor storm drainage improvements, erosion & sedimentation control, maintenance and protection of traffic, restoration of lawns and driveways, and other appurtenant work. There is no proposed extension of the existing Town of Manchester water main or sanitary sewer main proposed at this time.
